In my day job, I'm a middle school English teacher. I was looking for jokes to help teach grammar in an interesting way. I can't use this in my classroom, but thought I'd share a laugh. I'm serious about my grammar, but not quite ready for the police force.
Apparently, it's the wide screen version.
This is too funny! I'm quite a grammar snob, myself. In fact, I even blogged about it early on, right after I started blogging! Here's the link, if you're interested!

Too bad this isn't "middle school" appropriate. They'd get a kick out of it!
Ohmigod, I'm laughing so hard! Thanks so much for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I should show it to my college comp class. They still get those wrong!
ReplyDeleteI liked your post, Amy. Funny with a message. As an English teacher, I right (write) fairly cleanly, but I certainly make mistakes (especially on rules I really should know). But, I was struck by the lengthy last comment. I wonder whatever came of that situation?
